“ROW Baltics” (“Riga Open Wall Baltics”) will be a unique event in Latvia’s cultural scene, bringing together a wide range of street artists and musicians from across the Baltics for the first time in one place. The festival was initiated by Dainis Rudens, who, in collaboration with hip-hop artist ansis, aims to unite the leading street artists of the Baltic region.
Professional street artists from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia will collectively create 18 large-scale wall murals. Meanwhile, under the guidance of hip-hop artist ansis, the Baltic Beatmaker Competition will take place, featuring 12 talented music producers from the region. Their performances will be judged by both a panel of experts and the audience.
Festival visitors will also have the chance to:
-Take part in creative workshops for children and adults
-Watch a demonstration by the Latvian Special Operations Forces
-Witness a one-of-a-kind performance by the folk group Tautumeitas and the freestyle rap theater “Brīvrunu projekts”
