BEHOLD my WORKS
You might spot my name in the credits of Battlefield 1 & V, Apex Legends, Anthem, Star Wars Battlefront II and Fallen Order and many, many other titles. I gave it my best shot at polishing the linguistic quality of the stories inside those games.
In 2018-19 shot, edited and produced a documentary film about Latvian national team going to the "Battle of the Nations" - biggest medieval combat tournament in the entire world.
Plus got a whole bunch of NDA-covered work with, shall we say, various evil global corporations. All part of my master plan to collect ten stamps and get my very own evil corporation in the end.
Is aimed to be the go-to place for info on role-playing events and clubs in the Baltic region, making it easier for the international community to Find Games and Connect across our countries.
Roleplaying games, Tabletop and Live-Action games in particular, stand as unique forms of art. They provide both the method and a vital space for creative expression, operating on so many levels. At their very heart, beyond the mechanics of play, the competitive element diminishes, allowing the principle of "shared creation" to reign in all it's glory.
It forms an imaginative state that overshadows reality and lets us escape the limits and judgements enforced by society. Within these spaces, prejudices across social groups begin to soften and fade. Through the act of play that is undeniably unifying, exists the chance to see past the usual social 'masks,' language differences, and accustomed divides, to truly touch and understand the culture of each other. And with centuries of our unique and intertwined histories there always is so much to share.
The rise of social networks started the age of merging and constant recycling of information, bringing with it an undeniable consequence - the erosion of clarity. The very kind of clarity that allows enthusiasts to find each other, to connect and share experiences. The desire that often struggles to find it's way amidst the digital noise.
My mission is to capture fleeting data. To give it much needed structure. To serve as the intersection where community forms bridges and threads without constraints of hiding behind the locked doors or fear of exposure of creativity.
Our beloved games are a form of art.
And art demands to be seen.
